This month marked meaningful progress for Mediqor Aid as we continued developing practical contactless and passive monitoring technologies while engaging with clinicians, researchers, and innovators working across neonatal and geriatric care.
Patent application filed for our contactless monitoring technology
We filed a patent application covering core technology behind NidraX and NeoVigil, two of Mediqor Aid's key contactless physiological monitoring platforms.
NidraX is being developed for passive monitoring in adult and geriatric care settings, while NeoVigil focuses on contactless monitoring for neonatal care. The filing marks an important step in the development of our sensing and monitoring platform as we continue moving from engineering prototypes toward systems that can be evaluated in real-world healthcare environments.
Mediqor Aid at Geri Care Geriatrics Conclave 2026
Mediqor Aid participated in the Geri Care Geriatrics Conclave 2026 & 3rd Asia Pacific Geriatric Oncology Society Conference in Coimbatore. The conference brought together more than 200 clinicians and delegates to discuss advances in geriatric and geriatric oncology care through innovation, rehabilitation, technology, and multidisciplinary collaboration.
The Gero Technology Showcase was particularly relevant to our work, highlighting technology-led approaches aimed at transforming eldercare. The event also provided an opportunity to better understand how passive monitoring systems such as NidraX can fit into the changing needs of ageing populations, caregivers, and healthcare environments.
What we're building toward
Less intrusive monitoring, designed for practical care.
Across NeoVigil and NidraX, our work continues around contactless sensing, physiological monitoring, system integration, and validation. Our goal is to make monitoring less intrusive while keeping the information useful for clinicians, caregivers, and patients.
